How the 50/50 Draw Supports Community Services

We pride ourselves on our adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service. Explore what we have to offer and how we can contribute to your success.

1. Ticket Sales

  • Community members purchase 50/50 tickets either online or in-person.
  • Half of the total pot goes to the lucky winner.
  • The other half (less platform/service fees) is allocated for community initiatives.

2. Net Proceeds Allocation

  • NHF receives the non-winner portion as unrestricted funds.
  • These funds are then directed to selected service providers based on pre-approved program goals or campaign priorities.

3. Service Delivery by Providers

  • iGiftSight, for example, may offer free or subsidized eye health exams, glasses, or clinics for underserved populations.
  • HVWR may use the funding to host wellness camps, or support programming in partnership with youth or cultural organizations.
  • Other community groups (e.g., Trellis, Enviros, Warriors of Peace) may receive funding to offer mental health, family support, or mentorship services programs to their clients.

4. Accountability & Visibility

  • Fund usage is shared transparently on the Nurturing Hearts Foundation website or brochures with impact stories and updates showing how funds were used.
  • Nurturing Hearts Foundation retains oversight on where and how funding is directed to ensure alignment with its core values and community goals.
