Mission Statement 

A Warrior’s Peace is dedicated to guiding first responders and their families through profound healing, addressing not only the visible scars of PTSD but also the deeper roots of trauma that lie beneath. We create safe, trauma-informed spaces where firefighters, paramedics, police, military members, and their loved ones can confront and transform childhood trauma, generational pain, cultural wounds, and the daily stress of service. Our mission is to restore balance, awaken resilience, and help each person reclaim their wholeness.

Why A Warrior's Peace Exists

First responders carry the weight of what they witness, but those experiences often awaken deeper, unhealed wounds within. PTSD is not the beginning of the story, it is a doorway into the layers of pain carried through childhood, culture, and generations past. 

By healing these underlying roots, we not only bring relief from trauma symptoms but also end cycles of suffering that ripple through families, teams, and communities. When one responder heals, generations are impacted.

How we do it We deliver holistic, integrative programs designed for long-term transformation, including:

● Breathwork and nervous system regulation to release stored trauma and restore balance
● Trauma-sensitive movement and somatic practices to reconnect mind and body
● Ceremony, circle work, and sacred traditions to honor and release pain in community
● Sound and vibrational healing for deep nervous system restoration
● Peer support and leadership development to foster connection and accountability
● Integration coaching and education that address trauma at its root and provide tools for everyday life

How will NHF Heartshare funds help A Warrior's Peace?

Heartshare Funds will enable A Warrior’s Peace to:

 

  • Remove all financial barriers, so first responders can attend retreats and support groups at no cost

  • Focus fully on delivering high-quality, trauma-informed experiences without worrying about logistics or fundraising overhead.

  • Recruit and retain expert clinicians, peer mentors, and cultural leaders, ensuring each program is safe, effective, and compassionate

  • Scale capacity quickly, offering more retreats and workshops each year to meet growing demand

  • Maintain sustainable operations, freeing AWP to reinvest in program evaluation, continuous improvement, and long-term impact
